Two Red-browed Finches search together for food on the ground in the Bunya Mountains National Park, Queensland.  //  Red-browed Finch - Ploceidae (Estrildidae): Neochmia temporalis. Length to 12cm.  Found in coastal woodland and grassland habitats from western Cape York south to eastern South Australia. Isolated introductions in south-west Western Australia, probably cage-bird escapees. Feeds in small parties on the ground or in seeding grasses. Common.
